Greg Coveney:

Greg has studied various styles across the years (18+ years of training), such as Aikido, Karate, Ninjitsu, plus many others until he came across Systema back in 2000. He started training in Systema 8 years ago shortly after which he started the Maidenhead group with Darren, as trying to find someone who trained in this was even more limited than it is nowadays. Since then he has spent time with Vladimir in Canada and has stayed at Mikhail's home in Russia to further study the art, as well as attending countless UK seminars.

Darren Pickard:

Darren (skinny one on the left) has over 15 years of martial arts experience covering several arts such as Systema, Karate, Ju-Jitsu, Combat Sombo, and Combat Ju-Jutsu. He currently has 2 Karate Dan grades in Goju-Ryu and Gendo-Kai Karate although has been a while since he's thrown any head high kicks....

Since 2000 Darren has been training mainly in Systema, with the odd Combat Sombo summer camp thrown in for good luck. His training in Systema has come from attendance of seminars across the UK and Germany, and from Greg Coveney’s experiences in Canada and Russia, and of course 7+ years training in Maidenhead.

As well as teaching martial arts Darren is also a Reiki Level 2 healer and has a big passion for fast cars.
